REBORN.....20/30

It was scary at thought
but only one thing could cause that fear
Kept me away from my purpose, my walk...
but I finally made it back here
I didn't listen to the voices
I listened to the spirits
Those who aren't in that place
Understand me, you won't hear it
It was almost like my last will of rights
The right to turn wrongs back to right
Dawn in white
and for that very moment,
My cloth felt like a shield during a sinful fight
This struggle was getting real
Thoughts of backing out
Prolonging this quest
Procrastinating on another task
but I kept my eyes closed
prayed harder and continue to ask
"Is this the right choice?"
Before I could hear "HIS" responds
I was submitting my life to "HIM"
Tears filled my eyes like the pool before me
The first step into Holy waters burned so good
The second step was cooling me off
Body filled with the body of "HIM"
No longer was I afraid
The Deacons lowered me back
in seconds, in water of redemption I laid
Saw negative images in seconds, FADE
Came back to the surface, MADE
And during this whole time
My Queen was with me
and no longer I was alone
Last night was my expiration to sin
Today is a new day of being "Born Again"
I am........FREE
